MINUTES OF MEETING Approval of Minutes held on Friday 24th July 2015 read and signed by The Chairman. CHAIRMANS REPORT Rod attended the A.G.M. of the Pickerel Project. He received a document regarding the Oil Spillage Contingency Plan for the Broads and passed his comments back to the Broads Authority. The planning proposal for the Wroxham moorings have been amended to include restricted time for mooring but, the new proposals are still not acceptable. SECRETARY REPORT No report as Secretary not present – Minutes taken by Carole supported by Dale. . TREASURER’S REPORT Spencer reported all forms have been signed but still awaiting confirmation from Barclays to be able to proceed. The trailer has had new brakes, deck boards and wheel bearings and is now in good working order. There is still a reasonable balance in the Bank Account and our only expenditure in the next few months will be the cost of hiring the room for our social events. MEMBERSHIP SECRETARY The issue of the data protection has now been sorted and Dale was pleased to send off his first welcome pack to our newest member. He hopes the first of many. RIVER GIPPING TRUST REPRESENTATIVE Gerry reported that the River Gipping Trust discussed the upgrading of the towpath once the work at Pipps Ford had been completed. The possibility of a WRG work camp would involve a lot of planning and outside funding. Under the heading “Realising the Dream” Gordon Crosby and Les Howard have volunteered to move forward on the planning of a trip boat. Sproughton Council are going to write to all the Parish Councils surrounding the Gipping inviting them to a meeting in October.
