An Environment Agency licence dispensation for the River Nene upstream of Northampton Lock applies for boats attending the festival with only a BW licence Please note Moorings at the festival (between South Bridge and Nuns Mill Bridge) will be advised by the Organisers Harbour Master. Boats will be required to moor alongside each other (breast up). Bankside spaces will be allocated for trade boats and boats with registered disabled crew.

PLEASE READ CONDITIONS OF ENTRY OVERLEAF

Conditions of entry 1. All entries made on this form are correct at the time of entry and will be honoured at the Festival. Any changes should be notified to the Organisers as soon as possible.

2. The entry covers the boat named - no refunds can be made.

3. A plaque, where required, will be awarded to all entered craft stopping at the Festival for over 24 hours.

4. A current licence covering the relevant waterway must be displayed, except that boats with a BW licence may attend without an Environment Agency licence. This applies only upstream of Northampton Lock. All byelaws of the navigation authority must be complied with during the Festival, including compliance with the Boat Safety Scheme.

5. Third party insurance cover must be held to a minimum of £1,000,000 for the period of the Festival (and £5,000,000 Public Liability cover for trade boats and waterway charity boats, unless otherwise agreed with the Organisers).

6. Details of the Festival programme will be sent to entrants when available.

7. You must not leave litter or cause pollution of the waterway. In particular, toilets must not be discharged into the waterway and pet excrement must not be left on the towpath or Festival site.

8. All Organisers’ conditions must be complied with. Mooring will be supervised by their Waterspace Manager, whose directions must be accepted. Separate areas will be allocated for cruisers and for steel narrow boats or barges and vessels will be required to moor alongside one another (breast up/raft up), possibly up to five deep.

9. The Organisers cannot be held responsible for any damage to persons or property however caused, other than that for which they are legally liable as a result of their negligence.

10. The Organisers reserve the right to refuse any entry without giving any reason.

11. Information on this form may, in whole or part, be recorded under your name in accordance with current legislation.

Any data recorded under your name may be inspected on application to the Organisers.

12. Events on the Lock Island at the Festival are only open to boaters and their guests.

13. Adults are responsible for their children and pets at all times and in all places. Dogs must be kept under control whilst visiting the Lock Island.

14. No trading is allowed from vessels booked in as private boats.
