MESSAGE FROM OUR FOUNDERS 2019 was a year full of exciting achievements. Not only did we experience phenomenal growth in the church, but we saw incredible transformation in the lives of individuals and families throughout our Watoto villages, communities and nation. We thank God for His continuous faithfulness. One of our favorite parts of each year is attending the annual graduation party for our kids. Last year, we were beyond thrilled to congratulate 67 of our students who completed university. We now have over 700 young adults who have graduated since we began. We couldn’t be more proud of these young men and women, and know that God has an extraordinary purpose for each of them. During the year, we were also able to reach almost 15,000 girls in 45 schools across Uganda and South Sudan through our Keep a Girl in School initiative. Because of your generosity, these girls are being kept in school and have hope for a bright future. These are only a few of the amazing highlights of the last year. As we reflect on some of our successes, we know that we could not have done any of it alone. It’s only possible because of the commitment and dedication of you—our friends and partners around the world. You’re making a significant and lasting difference in the lives of thousands of children and women. Women like Resty and Justine (whose testimony we share on the next page). As you read some of the remarkable stories of the people you’re impacting on the pages that follow, we pray that you’ll be inspired and encouraged by the transformation taking place. Thanks for being such a special part of our Watoto family. We love you and pray for God’s continued blessing and favor on your lives. In Christ,

Gary and Marilyn Skinner Watoto Founders
