he last year has been a year of evolution for the Chamber. Along with some significant changes, the Chamber has continued to provide programming and initiatives deemed valuable to the community. The Chamber has offered, and will continue to offer, new initiatives to address the needs of our members.

The staff of the Chamber did a remarkable of job of keeping the Chamber moving forward as we brought President/CEO Dave Eckmann on board in August. Under Dave’s leadership, Melissa Kampmann there is a bright future ahead for our Chamber.

n reflecting on the Chamber’s year, I would be remiss not to thank Melissa, the Chamber staff and all the volunteers who guided us through some tough times. These folks were able to navigate the storm and still produce excellent results.

A very successful Small Business Week, Chamber Golf Outing, the graduation of our first Young Entrepreneurs Academy and the launch of The Branch were just a few of the Chamber’s accomplishments.

Recognizing the need for a strong business advocate to lead the Chamber, Dave Eckmann was recently hired as the President/CEO. Dave is in the process of meeting with members to better understand what businesses in our region need to be successful. Our goal is to engage and execute on issues faced by our members.
