Berkshire releases her 10th book
MaryAnn Berkshire, Wautoma, has just released her 10th book, titled Be Careful of the Night. The back cover reads: “Ghosts…what was it about this bodiless form of smoke that makes people sit up and devour every word they could read about them? Believers or skeptics, the feelings of fear and the dark of night always send shivers of anticipation to those who come close to the paranormal. Kassey Berk, a reporter for the Midwest Journal Newspaper, was one of the believers. Her new assignment sent her to the heart of her hometown where paranormal activity was epidemic; after all, it was the time of All Hallows Eve. At night in the Union Cemetery a lonesome howl was heard. Tourists and townspeople referred to it as the sound of a dog crying for his loved ones that had passed on. Was the dog real or ghostly apparition? Kirk Tomlinson of the U.S. Coast Guard joins Kassey to undo the forces of evil that wrap a black veil around the unsuspecting.”

Feeling left out? Are you embarrassed because you hear conversations, but have trouble understanding them? It may be you aren’t hearing as well as you should. Recent university studies have connected speech understanding problems with the early onset of Alzheimers and other maladies such as diabetes and high blood pressure. Everyone, especially those over 60 who have trouble hearing words clearly, should have an annual hearing checkup.
Open Year-Round
If you experience difficulty understanding, break free to a whole new world. See and hear for yourself the amazing difference a tiny, hidden hearing device can make. Take advantage of our FREE hearing checkup. The first 30 people who call and visit for an appointment will receive a FREE amplified cordless telephone for the hearing impaired ($59.95 retail value). Even if you have been told that old fashioned hearing aids would not help, newly developed methods of correction may surprise you. Please call us now to schedule your appointment!
