My Learning Log - My Learning Log is a record of my learning in and out of school.

- I need to work in my Learning Log every week.

- My Learning Log will go home on a friday and return on a wednesday.

- My Learning Logo is a place for me to reflect on my learning and be creative.

- I will recieve 3 challenges from my class teacher every week. I will must complete the English challenge and I can pick 1 more out of the my other 2.

- I could do extra research on things that I am interested in.

- I can write, draw, use photos or stick information into my Learning Log. - I will have high expectations of myself whenever I work on my Learning Log and w ill always do my best.

- My work will always be neatly presented.

- I know I can attend homework club for help or to use the computers.

This is every Monday night from 3:20pm to 4:30pm. I can bring adults along if I want.

Presentation I will not doodle on or in my books.

I will use a ruler to draw all lines.

I will not miss pages in my book.

I will put one neat line through any mistakes I make.

I will glue sheets into my book carefully so that they are straight.

I will use a sharp pencil for any pencil work.

I will use this pencil for written work or a blue pen if I have my pen licence.

I will ensure that my writing is neat and that my letters are correctly formed.

I will colour in neatly, trying to stay within the lines.

What do I include in my Writing Journal My Writing Journal is my special book. Just like a magpie collects shiny trinkets, I will collect treasured words and ideas. All that I write in there will help me to become a better writer. z WOW words and phrases heard during lessons. z WOW words and phrases I have read. z Vocabulary that is helpful for my writing task. z Sentence and grammar ideas. z Story maps. z Writing toolkits. z I will make sure that I use my Writing Journal in other subjects.
