Volunteers and buddies Volunteers and buddies play a key part in Waverley Care’s work. Volunteers carry out a wide range of roles from Buddying (providing friendship and one-to-one support) to reception/administration tasks, gardening and fundraising right through to offering complementary therapies. We are particularly looking to involve people who are living with HIV or Hepatitis C as peer supporters and community advocates. We want to encourage members of the positive community to offer support to others and also to have a say in the issues that affect them. Please contact your local office if you’d like to get involved or email us on volunteer@waverleycare.org.
