GCPD seeks help in motor vehicle thefts case

The pictured motorcycles were stolen from a storage building at a residence off Ratchford Drive in Gastonia.

The suspect(s) broke into the resident’s storage building sometime between March 17, at around 8:00 p.m. and March 18, at 12:00 p.m. The resident did not have surveillance cameras.

Descriptions of the three motorcycles stolen.

• 2013 Burgundy Suzuki Hayabusa GSX 1300R, lowered with stretched frame (elongated rear wheel support) and chrome rims

• 2007 White with Blue Accents, Suzuki GSX R1000, lowered with stretched frame and chrome rims

• 2005 White with Red Accents, Suzuki GSX R1000, female employee who was working behind the counter and told her to open the cash register drawer. The motorcycles were most likely pushed a short distance to a truck and trailer and then hauled off the property.

The suspect returned to the counter and again demanded the employee open the register. The employee told the suspect again that she could not open the register. After this second attempt, the suspect fled the store and was last seen on video entering the driver’s side of his car and leaving the area.
