En Banc Pre-Law Program

“The Law is Reason, Free From Passion.” - ARISTOTLE, POLITICS

WHAT IS EN BANC? It is a prestigious pre-law group where students have the opportunity to meet alumni who are lawyers, attend events on and off campus with speakers from various legal fields, consult with the university’s pre-law advisor about law school, as well as having access to programs on campus to help them with preparing for the LSAT and applying to law school.

LEADERSHIP

Waynesburg University’s En Banc Program is directed by Dr. Lawrence M. Stratton who is also Professor of Ethics and Constitutional Law and a member of the bar in the District of Columbia. Dr. Stratton also holds a Ph.D. and M.Div. from Princeton Theological Seminary, a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, and a B.S. in economics from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School. He is a former clerk to U.S. District Judge Claude M. Hilton of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
