Welcome August!

Soon we will welcome back our Yellow Jackets and new Yellow Jackets to the Waynesburg University Family!

newsletter is produced by the Administrative Staff Development Committee (ASDC) and its purpose is to keep faculty and staff informed of upcoming campus events and cross-campus news.

Campus Updates

Mandatory Title IX Training

The University is working with United Educators to provide all faculty, staff, students, investigators, hearing officers, and informal resolution facilitators with an annual training program on Title IX Regulations, which will go into effect on August 1, 2024 Among other things, the program will outline the conduct that constitutes sex discrimination under Title IX, including the definition of “sex-based harassment,” and all applicable notification and information requirements the University must satisfy We will be sending a follow-up notice with dates/times for the training at the start of the semester and look forward to your participation

Phishing Email Reminders:

Several phishing emails have been circulating the WU network. These messages may be external or be from someone at WU and appear to be legitimate They may share an opportunity, file, or other convincing request with a link to click Upon clicking on the link, you are taken to a site to collect your University username and password and attempt to retrieve your multifactor authentication code/authorization If you entered your credentials using one of these links, please contact the help desk immediately.

Reporting:

If you have questions about any spam, malicious, or phishing email, forward the email (as an attachment) with your question to helpdesk@waynesburg.edu. If you do not have a question but want to report the email, you may do so using abuse@waynesburg.edu

Welcome Days!

Welcome Days are designed to help integrate students into their life as a Yellow Jacket and to familiarize them with their new Waynesburg family.

During Welcome Days, students will have opportunities to connect with new and current students, faculty and staff while learning about the resources and services that Waynesburg University has to offer on campus. At the same time, students will meet their Fiat Lux class, academic advisor and create memories and friends that will last a lifetime
