A new opportunity for you and your child!
Connect at 3 is a way to make sure you’re getting the support you need from the time your child turns 3 until they start kindergarten. Here’s how it works. • You sign up to receive Connect at 3 emails and texts. • We send you information about: • Fun social and learning events for you and your child • How 3- and 4-year-olds learn and develop • How to sign up for a free developmental assessment • Opportunities to share feedback Together, we’ll listen to, learn from, and support the needs of our children. Did you know?
Scan to sign up
You can still sign up if your child has turned 4-years-old. You do not need to attend the Wayzata Early Learning School to participate. Connect at 3 is for all families in the district. Participating in Connect at 3 activities helps you develop a relationship with early learning professionals in the Wayzata School District.

SPECIAL EVENT: Parenting with Less Conflict Would you like more time doing enjoyable things together with your child? Do you have conflicts around devices, homework, meals and bed times? Do you feel like you are working harder at solving these problems than your child? Then come learn new ways of being together that help your child develop the self-discipline to make good choices without using extrinsic rewards and punishments. This dynamic talk will leave you with an understanding that all behavior is purposeful and will help you identify what needs are getting met when kids are behaving in ways that are in conflict with the beliefs of your family. You will learn the tools that help provide lasting behavioral change rather than relying on more reminders or supervision. ABOUT THE PRESENTER

YOUR CHILDREN DESERVE THE BEST
In Wayzata Public Schools (WPS), we focus on excellence, for each and every student. Our vibrant, caring community of teachers and school staff knows that each of our students is on a unique and wonderful educational journey—and we support every one of them along the way.
WHY CHOOSE WAYZATA?
Families move into our district due to the quality of our schools. Just a few of the reasons why: • Our teachers are among the most talented, enthusiastic and motivated professionals in the nation. • As a public school district serving nearly 13,000 students, we have the ability and experience to offer a wide variety of programs and services that meet the needs of all students. • Our parents are engaged and supportive. Numerous school parent organizations and booster groups directly support each district school and many co-curricular and extra-curricular programs. • Elementary, middle and high school students regularly receive recognition and top honors in academic, co-curricular and extracurricular activities.

Tuesday, February 6 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Central Middle School Cost: $10
