On March 16th, we urgently started to evacuate the animals in Aquamarine Fukushima.


All of JAZA institutions provide supplies to affected institutions.

Zoo Aquarium


The operation of all of the JAZA member institutions will be affected for a long term. In Japan, we don’t have governing agencies for zoos and aquariums. We need to approach the national government and to promote public action for the survival of zoos and aquariums. JAZA will DO our best to do this. On May, we will have the JAZA conference in Okinawa. We will get the cooperation from all of the JAZA member institutions to work together.



JAZA has set up a bank account for donations  WAZA has set up a donation page (thank you!)  Volunteer help is greatly appreciated, but… 
