INTER-HOUSE ATHLETICS MEETING 2020 ON FRIDAY, 14 FEBRUARY 2020 FROM 15H00 - 19H00 AT THE WYNBERG MILITARY BASE
WE APPEAL TO ALL SPECTATORS TO KEEP WELL OFF THE TRACK AND TO KEEP TO THE OUTSIDE OF THE TRACK ONLY. Supera Moras
VENUE Our Inter-house Athletics Meeting for 2020 will take place at the Wynberg Military Base. Entrance gate (opens at 13h45) to the base will be via Buren Road. We will start at 15h00 and will end approximately around 19h00.
SUN PROTECTION Please encourage your son/s to wear their house golfer and hat for sun protection and ensure that they bring their sunscreen and water bottle to the event. We will give the learners priority for shade at the Military Base. We strongly advise that boys apply sunscreen before school and reapply at the start of the day and between events. Therefore, a small bag for athletic items is recommended.
PARENT SUPPORT Parents are warmly invited to come along to spectate and support the day. Refreshments will be on sale throughout the event. There is limited shade in the spectator area, we advise you to wear cool clothing, bring an umbrella, camp chairs and keep hydrated. Parking will be available around the Military Base Soccer Field, please obey the parking marshalls.

TRANSPORT WBJS will be providing supervision from 12h30 15h00 on Friday to accommodate parent schedules. Teachers will be walking boys to the Military Base from 13h45 onwards. If your son needs childcare please click here. All boys are to be collected at the Military Base by no later than 18h30. Grade R-2 learners can be signed out by their parent/s from 16h00.
TUCKSHOP A tuckshop will be available at the event. We would
like
to
encourage
parents
to
use
SnapScan rather than cash. Remember to stay hydrated.
ENVIRONMENT We urge all parents and Wynberg family members to keep the environment clean at all times. There will be bins all around the venue. If you see any lost items, kindly hand it to a teacher on duty. Toilets, for all children will be that of the club house on top of the Military Base. Adults are to use the toilets at the back of the Military Sports Centre.
UNIFORM Learners may arrive in their house golfer and white or navy sports shorts to school on Friday morning. Supera Moras
