WELCOME TO THE WBJS GREY SPORT & CULTURAL WEEKEND 2024
Our special relationship with our brother school, Grey Junior, continues as we welcome them to Wynberg this weekend The air of excitement at Wynberg Boys’ Junior School is shared by the boys, staff and parents. It's not just about competing, the Grey Sport & Cultural weekend shows the true spirit of sportsmanship, resilience, and togetherness that is common amongst Boys’ schools What makes this weekend special is the fact that all boys are afforded the opportunity to “tour” and not only the U13A teams as is often the case
Thank you to the Sport and Music Departments on both Grey and s in making this logistical exercise run smoothly There is much work nths in advance that culminate in what are to experience in the hall and on the fields. We are grateful to our parents for opening their homes to host boys and for assisting us whenever needed, without you this would not have been possible Also to the Grey parents for hosting and looking after our boys when they visit Queberha
We look forward to rekindling old friendships and developing new ones. Whilst we will compete and bring out the best in each other, may sportsmanship prevail - Supera Moras
Mr Cedric Poleman HeadmasterIt gives me great pleasure to welcome Grey Junior to Cape Town for the Sports & Culture Weekend We have missed hosting you over the last few years. This weekend we look forward to matches being played in a truly competitive, yet fair environment where all boys make memories both on and off the field I would like to take this opportunity to wish all boys, regardless of the team you are representing, the best of luck for your matches
Go out there and have fun, give it your all and enjoy the honour of participating in such a special weekend.
