The Immunisation Advisory Centre: 2020 Courses The Immunisation Advisory Centre (IMAC) provides a range of learning opportunities for health professionals. This includes vaccinator training courses and the required two-yearly update.

Other courses cover disease, vaccine and administration specific topics. Some courses are online only, whilst others include tutorial-based sessions.

All bookings, assessment and certificates are managed through our online learning platform. After creating a new user account or logging in as an existing user, you can browse the catalogue, register and pay for courses.

INITIAL EDUCATION PATHWAY FOR AUTHORISED VACCINATORS AND PHARMACIST VACCINATORS Face to face course

All vaccinators are required to complete a 2 yearly approved vaccinator update (either face to face or online) to maintain their status.

• Online vaccinator updates for specific groups and specialties (eg public health nurses, midwives) • HPV vaccination • Storage and handling of vaccines • Tuberculosis, skin testing and BCG vaccination • Introduction to immunisation (non-vaccinating health care workers) • Oral health module (for Well Child Tamariki Ora service providers)

If you are unable to attend your face to face or flexible learning course, please contact IMAC education and training. We are able to transfer your booking but are not able to offer refunds.
