Bay Radiology Opening Hours

Bay Radiology opening hours Bay Radiology remains open to support your service albeit at a reduced capacity.

• On Wednesday evening the Papamoa site and Katikati sites will be closed.

• On Friday, Promed House will be closed until Tuesday when Alert level 2 commences.

• The Saturday session at the Mount Maunganui branch will also be closed until further notice.

Bay radiology are consolidating their services from a reduced number with reduced staffing levels.

• Mount Maunganui will remain open for urgent x-ray, diagnostic mammography and essential ultrasound.

• Grace Hospital will remain open for urgent general x-ray, theatre services, MRI, CT and interventional examinations. All MRI, CT and interventional referrals will be triaged by a Radiologist with non-urgent imaging deferred until we are back on Alert Level 2.

• MRI on the hospital campus will remain open predominantly for inpatient examinations • East Bay Radiology will remain open for urgent general x-ray imaging, diagnostic mammography and essential ultrasound.

Given the current unpredictable environment Bay Radiology will be adding and removing services daily, based on referral demand, staff availability and the quantity of PPE that can be obtained.

Also as a reminder for current protocol in order to keep staff and patients as safe as possible: • anyone who is unwell or are showing any symptoms of Covid-19 will not be allowed to enter the premise.

• Please do not send any patients directly to a site.

• Referrals must be faxed or emailed to us.

• All appointments will be made over the phone, and the patient will be directed to the appropriate site by Bay Radiology staff.
