You’re invited to a night of eye education relevant to general practice in the Bay of Plenty. Hosted by Mr Alex Petty (Bay Eye Care), featuring guest presenter Dr Sam Kain (Tauranga Eye Specialists). This activity has been endorsed by The Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners (RNZCGP) and has been approved for up to 2 CME credits for the General Practice Educational Programme (GPEP) and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) purposes.

Arrive from 5.30pm for complimentary drinks and nibbles. Managing acute eye conditions, including infection, inflammation and other maladies. Managing chronic lid and ocular surface conditions, including dry eye and blepharitis. Summary of results and findings from the diabetic retinal photo screening programme in the Bay of Plenty. Guest Presenter: Dr Sam Kain (Tauranga Eye Specialists) Managing the impending myopia epidemic in NZ: risk factors for myopia in children, ocular disease sequelae and treatment options to slow myopia progression.
