Electronic patient referrals GPs can now refer patients to the Hepatitis Foundation of New Zealand electronically. Electronic referrals can be done via CareSelect, HealthLink (our EDI is NZhepfnd), Best Practice or Medtech. Alternatively GPs can email us (hepteam@hfnz.nz) as we have compliant Ministry of Health IT security and firewalls. This new process aims to support better collaboration between health partners and ensure all people living with hepatitis get the help, monitoring and treatment they need.
