HALCYON CLAIMS MANAGEMENT Update two- 29 August 2019
HALCYON GO LIVE IN GENERAL PRACTICE- 2nd September 2019 Halcyon going live in your practice is just days away on Monday 2nd September, with BPac claiming moving to Halcyon for CarePlus, DAR, DCIP, Insulin start and CVDRA. Thank you all for your support as we gathered information and completed the installation phase. We look forward to the benefits that Halcyon will offer us all and urge practice teams to familiarize themselves with Halcyon prior to go live. NEED TO KNOWS! • All practices will not be able to submit claims for CarePlus, DAR, DCIP or Insulin Starts from 5pm Friday August 30th until claiming resumes through Halcyon at 8am on Monday Sept 2nd • eReferrals and Best Practice Intelligence are unaffected by this change • For Medtech practices, BPac Common Form will cease to be available from 5pm, Friday Aug 30th • BPac Patient Prompt functionality will be unchanged but will open Halcyon forms for CVDRA & DAR instead of the Common Form Accessing Halcyon • A patient record needs to be open in your PMS to enable Halcyon to be accessed • Medtech Practice users wanting the Halcyon Icon on their Tool Bar will need to add this individually • MyPractice and Profile will find Halcyon in their list of Forms when they have opened a clinical record Previous Claim History All historical registration and claim data from BPac will available in Halcyon from Monday 2nd Sept. Current programme registrations will be displayed in Halcyon under a patients’ Current Programmes and for CarePlus patients there will be a registration date as well as the dates of paid reviews. Programme Rules The programme rules remain unchanged except for the 3 changes below. • Re-Assessment or Re-Enrolment in CarePlus, DAR, DCIP and Insulin Start now will be accepted from 11 months • For Insulin Start, registration in CarePlus or having a HUHC is no longer mandatory • Patients registered in CarePlus who transfer between WBOP PHO practices will be entitled to 4 CarePlus visits when re-registered in CarePlus at their new practice Halcyon Training The GPS team are still offering on-site practice training sessions, so please contact the team to arrange these. Training resources available on the PHO Portal include “How to guides”, short training videos and Frequently Asked Questions. Very soon the PHO Training Videos will be viewable within each programme in Halcyon under Links. Contact Details
