Joint Statement PSAAP Meeting 27 March 2018

The PSAAP Group discussed the Government’s proposed primary care initiatives, the priority around the review of primary care funding and were broadly in agreement around policy implementation options. The group looked forward to the Government confirming the shape and form of the final package in mid to late April.

All parties reached agreement on the following items: •

An amended National Enrolment Service (NES) adoption target from 98% of practices in each PHO to 98% of practices nationally which has now been achieved. Work towards the achievement of NES financial comparison targets continues.

General practice patient contact information to be shared with the National Bowel Screening Programme to support increased participation of priority populations in the programme.
