01/10/2018 Dear Practice Manager WE ARE IMPROVING THE WAY YOU CAN UPDATE YOUR PRACTICE HOURS & SPECIAL AFTER-HOURS TRIAGE INFORMATION IN HEALTHPOINT We are always looking at ways to improve our service to you and wanted to let you know about some upcoming change that will enhance the service we can give your patients and your practice. •
Homecare Medical partners with Healthpoint who provide information on healthcare providers including details on practice opening hours (including over regional and national holidays).

Practices who do not currently have a personal login to Healthpoint will get one to update their hours.
•
All practices (including those who already have logins) will have a new page in which to store information that we use in administering the after-hours service. This was information we have always gathered from you, but now it will be in a shared place for easy updates.

We wanted to make sure this functionality was available to all our customers and have funded development work with Healthpoint to allow this to happen for you
From 1st November 2018, you will be able to: •
Log into Healthpoint to update and maintain your practice hours (which our nurses and the public can see)

Update and edit special information about your practice that our nurses need to handle your calls after hours (this will not be publicly visible) – i.e. “if there is an unexpected death, you should call this number…….”

Complete these tasks online using your own unique log on code.
This will be especially useful with the Christmas holiday season coming up. What happens next? •
We’ll send you detailed instructions on how to log in. This will include a simple visual guide and how to troubleshoot.

We’ll make sure you know what to do by when. We will make sure all the current practice information we hold is transferred over to the new system for you. You will then be able to edit this yourself when and if you need to.
