Proof of Eligibility Patients are not required to have their CSC with them to prove that they are eligible for the discount. If a patient is not showing as eligible in NES and does not have their CSC with them but believes they are eligible you will need to direct them to call Work and Income to retrieve their CSC number – 0800 999 999. Dependent Children Your PMS should be enabled to add CSC entitlement to NES for CSC holders and their dependents if they are not showing in NES. If your practice has an issue with uploading CSC entitlement for a dependent child, you are able to contact the Ministry of Health who will be able to assist with this – 0800 855 066. Should you Import the ASR Update File? If your team has not been actively updating CSC information, then running the ASR import will ensure your CSC data is up to date. However if your team has been actively updating CSC information then the ASR file may override some of the work you have completed.
