STRESS Less Course About the Course: The STRESS Less Course is an education and skills based course offered to people who experience significant anxiety that impacts on their daily lives.

Meet and gain support from others who also experience anxiety.
Programme details: The goal is for course participants to be able to understand more about anxiety, and develop a range of reliable, scientifically based, practical and easy to understand strategies to cope with anxiety.
The programme will run for six weeks in each school term on Tuesday 2:30-4:30 pm. The course will be facilitated by a fully qualified and experienced clinical psychologist.
The objectives for the course are: •
To understand the causes, types and symptoms of anxiety.

To learn about the latest scientific research into treatment for anxiety.
•
To introduce a range of strategies to cope with anxiety, including noticing and diffusing from difficult thoughts and feelings, mindfulness and relaxation techniques to address physical symptoms, sleep hygiene, balancing your lifestyle, and other behavioural techniques.
