SuperGold Community Services Card

Community Services Cards & SuperGold Cards Any New Zealand resident aged over 65, or those currently receiving a NZ Super or Veterans pension qualify for a SuperGold card, however it is important to remember that not all SuperGold cards are community services cards.

“The only cards with an expiry date are ‘Combo Cards’. Combo cards double as both a Community Services Card and SuperGold Card. They will have the letters CSC on the back of the card, and EXP to indicate the expiry date of the card. These cards have an expiry date because entitlement to CSC can change over time and clients are reassessed for eligibility at least every three years.”

If you come across a SuperGold card without an expiry date, it is not a combo card – in other words it is not a valid Community Services Card.
