30th April 2020 Good afternoon to you all Last Friday, I emailed you about the MOH change to the claim amount for Virtual Assessments to a standard fee of $60 and since then there have been number of queries come to PHO about the use of the funding and the claim process. This has resulted in the following changes to the service document, find the updated document is attached: 1. Eligibility Criteria is now specified • Enrolled and casual patients, 14 years and over 2. Changes to the claim process: • Age has been added to the monthly claim schedule • Count is no longer required • Request that the excel claim spreadsheet includes all fields in specific order shown Please set up your VCOVID service code bearing in mind that this is a fixed fee and no claw back is allowable. Due to the delay in finalizing this process should you already have a code in place for this service that code will be accepted but please let us know what it is when sending your claim through. Attached is an excel claiming spreadsheet template, or you could set up a PMS query to populate a claim spreadsheet, both options need to have the information in the table below in the same order to support import into the PHO database. Below is also a screenshot of the Medtech32 query builder to guide query set up.
I have attached a Q and A document based on the questions that have been received to date, please get in touch if you have any further questions or queries. Regards Debbie Debbie Baillie Liaison, General Practice Services
