Material specs 18mm Ply – fire rated wall and floor paneling. Class 1 spread of flame as specified in BS476; Part 7 1987 Molton Black – fire rated wall and ceiling lining. The fabric meets the requirements of BS5867 Part 2:2008 Type B in the original received state Stage floor – vinyl anti-slip flooring. When assessed according to BS5287: 1988 the floor covering when tested to Method 1 of BS4790 has a medium radius of effects of ignition Fabric canopy – safely rated to class 2 wind speeds or force 5 on the Beaufort scale. This equates to 23.5 mph or 38 kph. Mirrored dibond – external cladding. A sample of Dibond, aluminium sandwich panel, was submitted to a fire propagation test in accordance with B.S.476: Part 6: 1989 on 12 May 1994. The material achieved a fire propagation index of 0.7, comprising sub-indices i, of 0, i2 of 0 and i3 of 0.7

Erection and transportation Please find attached the generic HIAB Risk Assessment & Method Statement that most hauliers use, dependent upon which haulier does the delivery these will vary but each driver will carry a copy in the cab for inspection on the day, if required. We can advise prior to delivery the weight of the container; if standard the TARE weight is typically 3T for a 20ft Open Side. Our drivers can supply & use spreader boards if the surface needs to be protected in some way, i.e. lawns, or if the ground is slightly soft. Where the ground is waterlogged or very soft the driver will likely refuse to risk the vehicle becoming stuck, suggesting movement by crane or multifork type vehicle. Containers can be sited on any level firm ground with little or no support, if grassed then we would suggest a railway sleeper (or equivalent) be placed under the corner castings. If the container is going to be permanently sited or lifted onto softer ground then either poured concrete pads or dense concrete blocks should be used instead. In all instances, levelling can be achieved using 2-3mm steel plates below the corner castings, where significant levelling is required then dense concrete blocks should be used. The fabric canopy can we wound out manually by one person, and can remain fixed to the container. The fixed steel canopy will need to be lifted into place by 2 -3 people. The fold down sides on option 2 are operated by a motorised winch.
