The Walton Suite The Guildhall’s best kept secret. The Walton suite is one of the highest event spaces in the city and makes full use of the roof top terrace with amazing views over the roof tops of Winchester to St Giles Hill and beyond. Glass atriums create fascinating vistas of the famous Guildhall Clock Tower. The outside space is superb for a barbeque, or relaxing on a summers evening. It comfortably seats up to 80 guests for a formal meal, and 100 guests for a ceremony.

The Courtyard If you’re looking for a unique, quirky, contemporary event space then look no further. Formerly housing the cells of the Winchester law courts, The Courtyard with arched vaults, pillars and outside courtyard has an intimate feel but with plenty of space. It seats up to 100 guests for your “ceremony in the round” allowing you to be truly centre stage as you say your vows. This flexible space seats 140 guests for a formal seated meal or 200 guests for an evening party, the private courtyard is a great place to relax, enjoy a barbeque or even a hog roast.
