National Cattle Congress

The Black Hawk County Conservation Board oversees many areas, all within a 35-mile radius of central Cedar Falls/Waterloo, covering roughly 3,600 acres of public hunting. The variety of terrain offers ideal grounds of hunting white tailed deer, turkey, waterfowl, and game birds. There are shotgun and bow hunting areas, archery and shooting ranges, and trap shooting within some areas of the parks.
