Week7 (journal)
This week we have site visit and we could feel the real construction within the building. These two pictures are about the pipe system of the building which are mainly formed by the PVC.
These two pictures are about the wall system of the building. The steel form used to support the weight. There have bolts required at the connection depend on the thickness of the members. Steel clip angles metal strap tie steel brackets web stiffeners and through bolts. The clip angles for superimposed beams provide for lateral stability of supported beam if necessary. Movement joints are also required to prevent the deflection of a steel or concrete structure frame from placing stress on a supported masonry wall.
The two pictures describe the roof system of the building. The roof system of this building is the metal building. Metal roof decking is corrugated to increase its stiffness and ability to span across open- web steel joints or more widely spaced steel beams and to serve as a base for thermal insulation and member roofing.
These two pictures are about the fire protection system and the air system of the building. From this week study, we could learn more about the construction system. We could feel the real material of the building which could help us to understand the them.
