Dungeons & Dragons – Infernal Machine Rebuild

WCPR is proud to offer the roleplaying game Dungeons and Dragons. The structure to the stories brings new ways to determine the consequences of the adventurers’ actions. Players roll dice to determine whether their attacks hit or miss and whether their characters can scale a cliff, roll away from the strike of a magical lightning bolt, or pull off some other dangerous task. Anything is possible, but the dice make some things more probable than others. Premade characters and dice will be provided. No experience, knowledge, or supplies are necessary. Optionally, you can read the rules or make your own character for free at dndbeyond.com

DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS: INFERNAL MACHINE REBUILD - In “Dungeons and Dragons: Infernal Machine Rebuild,” a fallen clock tower holds components from an ancient artifact. Launch expeditions to uncover additional components scattered across distant places—and times. The lost Temple of Moloch and the unfinished Tomb of Horrors are two of those locations. Classes meet every other week. Instructor: Quintin Burlingame

Engineering for Kids: Apprentice Civil Engineering

Put on your hardhat and get ready to raise the roof with the fun and excitement of civil engineering. In this camp, students will learn how to engineer while being mindful of the forces acting upon a structure, such as bending, compression, torsion, and shear. They will learn that shape and materials selection are critical to the success of towers, bridges, and highways. Each day, students will use the EFK Engineering Design Process to engage in captivating civil engineering challenges. This camp is sure to take learners’ curiosity and skills to new heights. Robothink | Building Bots to Battle | Spring Break

In this 3-day camp, young engineers will have the chance to build and customize their very own robots using DC and servo motors, switches, LEDs, IR sensors, and wired and wireless controllers. Each day, campers will build two different robots and have the opportunity to test them out in a variety of fun robot games and battles. With a focus on hands-on learning and problem-solving, this camp is perfect for kids who are interested in robotics and engineering. Your instructor is a master engineer who has been teaching robotics for several years and has taught robotics to other budding engineers! Instructor: RoboThink
