Bob Ross Certified Oil PaintingFour Day Sea Scape Workshop

Join Certified Ross Instructor ® Quintin Burlingame as he leads students of all skill levels through the Bob Ross Wet-on-Wet technique ®. Students will learn to make a variety of seascapes from small waves to big crashers. Each day will be a different 12x16 ocean painting with white, black, or even two-toned canvases. Discover a personal approach to painting landscapes with watercolor. Explore expressive color and fluid paint on paper as you create dramatic skies and atmospheric effects. Experiment with a variety of textural techniques to help you simplify and suggest mountains, trees, rocks, and more. Color Mixing - Creating the Perfect Pallet

Do you struggle to achieve the perfect color when painting or drawing? We can help! Come and learn the basics of how to mix colors to get the affects you want. In this series of three classes, instructor Heather Bethurum will guide you through the basics of color theory and the fundamental skills of selecting colors for your creations. The instructor will supply paints and colored pencils, but students must bring the following: Watercolor paper (several sheets, 9x12 is preferable), watercolor pallet, a set of short handle, soft bristle brushes, pencil and eraser. Adult Acrylic Painting Class

Come paint with Kris Salva at The Enrichment Center. Class takes place every other Thursday. Students will paint a variety of subjects and experiment with different styles of acrylic painting. All materials are provided by this instructor.

Watercolor Studio – All Ability Levels

Come and learn basic watercolor techniques and/or refine your skills in a fun and collaborative setting. Participants will learn to create beautiful watercolor paintings and build skills throughout this 4-week course. Participants will need to bring 2-3 inspiration pictures printed out in color. Students will bring their own supplies for this class and the supply list is as follows: Watercolor paper (several sheets, 9x12 is preferable), Watercolors (watercolor in tubes is recommended), Watercolor pallet, a set of short handle, soft bristle brushes, a 1.2 or 2 inch soft flat brush, Pencil and eraser.

The Basics of Drawing

Drawing is the foundation for everything we do in the visual arts. If you have a desire to improve your sketching skills, join us for this three session class in Nolensville. In this class, participants will learn basic drawing techniques such as form, texture, space, and value in a fun and collaborative setting. The instructor will provide some materials, but students should bring the following: sketchbook (11x14 or larger), set of sketching pencils (minimum of 5 pencils of varying softness), eraser, pencil sharpener.

Basics of Paper Quilling

Discover how to turn simple paper strips into beautiful art by joining our two-week paper quilling class! Paper quilling can be used to create personalized greeting cards, ornaments, monograms, frames, and so much more! The first week of class will introduce students to the tools used for paper quilling while the instructor guides participants through turning basic shapes into a beginner-friendly design. The next week will build on these skills with a more intricate design.

Paper Quilling Workshop: Mandalas

Discover how to turn simple, colorful paper strips into a beautiful quilled mandala. In this class, we will create traditional mandala designs that are symmetrical and balanced. Local quilling artist, Meenakshi Motwani, will provide an overview of the concepts of quilling and demonstrate how to make designs using basic coiling and shaping techniques.

Paper Quilling Workshop: Typography

Come create your favorite letter in this Quillography class! Quillography is the art of producing decorative lettering or phrases with colorful strips of paper. Instructor Meenakshi Motwani, a local quilling artist, will provide an overview of the concepts of quilling and explained how to make designs using the basic coiling and shaping techniques. When registering for class, you will be asked what letter you would like to create during the class.
