TRANSLATIONS Alleluia, laus et gloriae Alleluia, praise and glory and power to our God: for his judgments are true and just. Alleluia. Laetatus sum I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go to the house of the Lord!” Our feet have been standing within your gates, O Jerusalem! Jerusalem—built as a city that is bound firmly together, to which the tribes go up, the tribes of the Lord, as was decreed for Israel, to give thanks to the name of the Lord. There thrones for judgment were set, the thrones of the house of David. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem! “May they be secure who love you! Peace be within your walls and security within your towers!” For my brothers and companions' sake I will say, “Peace be within you!” For the sake of the house of the Lord our God, I will seek your good. O Victorissimi O victors in your triumph! Your blood poured out, you hail the building of the Church, for you have entered in the Lamb’s own blood, and now enjoy the feast with the slaughtered calf. How great is your reward! Your living bodies you’ve despised in imitation of God’s Lamb; his pain you take as glory, for through it he has brought you to your inheritance restored! Ave Maria Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you. Blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus Christ. Holy Mary, pray for us, now and at the hour of our death. Amen. Plorate filii Weep sons of Israel: weep all virgins: And the only begotten daughter of Jephthe. In song of sorrow, bewail. Non morir, Seneca Do not die Seneca, no. I personally have no wish to die. This life is too sweet, this sky too peaceful; Every bitterness and poison in in the end but a trifling obstacle. If I lie down to a light sleep, I still awaken in the morning, But a tomb of fine marble never gives back what it has received. I personally have no wish to die. Do not die Seneca, no.
