WCU’s quartet in-residence, the Dalí Quartet joins the Wind Ensemble for a performance of Joel Puckett’s whimsical Short Stories for string quartet and wind band. We are also excited to include the Fleetwood High School Wind Ensemble under the direction of M.M. in Instrumental Conducting alumnae Elizabeth
Mahovsky during this special performance.
The WCU Wind Ensemble is composed of 45 of the finest wind and percussion players at WCU. As a premier ensemble, the group represents WCU at conventions and performs in high schools throughout the region. Many new works have been commissioned by the Ensemble in recent years.
