An Evening of Song
Join the Criterions Jazz Ensemble as they open the 2022-23 season with an evening of song. Featuring D.C. vocalist Christie Dashiell, the band will perform a unique blend of some of the greatest works for voice and big band ever penned including music arranged by Nelson Riddle, Gordon Jenkins, Quincy Jones and more.
The Criterions Jazz Ensemble performs a variety of big band traditional and contemporary jazz literature. Besides concerts at West Chester University, the ensemble often plays at nearby high schools and participates in jazz festivals in the tri-state area.
