Tarot
An eclectic mix of wind band music is featured on our final performance of the semester. The mysterious Tarot by Lindsay Bronnenkant, Howard Hanson’s profound setting of Dies Natalis and Florent Schmitt’s early twentieth century revolutionary work, Dionysiaques, will ensure an enjoyable afternoon of music.
The WCU Wind Ensemble is composed of 45 of the finest wind and percussion players at WCU. As a premier ensemble, the group represents WCU at conventions and performs in high schools throughout the region. Many new works have been commissioned by the Ensemble in recent years.
