When this fully automated 53,000 m² e-commerce distribution centre for Wehkamp in Zwolle opened its doors, it was by far the largest of its kind. The building is BREEAM EXCELLENT certified and later expanded with another 57,000 m² warehouse. With its 10,000 m² mezzanine, luxurious finishes and impressive KNAPP installation, this distribution centre is a paragon of ambition and efficiency.

A 13,800 m² distribution centre with 3,000 m² of high-end office space, all with luxurious finishes, for logistics supplier DSV. The warehouse offers everything to support air freight traffic, with special docks fitted with lift tables, large pallets and a roller conveyor system. The building’s countless windows let in abundant natural light. Coated floors, extensive signage, collision protection and cooling cells top off this outstanding distribution facility.

This 48,000 m² warehouse for logistics supplier DB Schenker in Venlo – the number one logistical hotspot in the Netherlands – is yet another gem. While its design is fairly standard, the unique office floorplan and modern facade are tailored to the client’s needs. This modern distribution centre is also equipped with a spacious mezzanine.

The BREEAM EXCELLENT certified building features lush green areas and birdhouses along its facade. An impressive sorting system lies at the heart of this guarded site, with a combination of small docks and regular docks. To top it off, abundant natural light flows through translucent wall cladding panels.

This 62,000 m² distribution centre is just the beginning for German supermarket chain Lidl. An impressive expansion, with yet another 20,000 m² of additional warehouse space, is in the pipeline. The brand-new global distribution centre for chocolate producer Barry Callebaut in Lokeren is an exceptionally ingenious, one-of-a-kind project. With over 60,000 m² of surface, this will be the largest chocolate warehouse in the world! The BREEAM OUTSTANDING certified facility, equipped with a low bay and a fully automated high bay with controlled temperature, is also fitted with large quantities of solar panels for maximum sustainability. For an optimal use of space, the building was vertically integrated. With ceilings reaching up to 40 metres, this high-rise has room for over 83,000 pallet spots.
Distrilog Gent Logistics
A 30,000 m² high-end distribution centre for logistics supplier Distrilog in WDPort of Ghent, providing this company with direct access to the North Sea and everything it needs to create the right multimodal mobility mix. Easily accessible by water, the distribution centre also has a railroad connection on site. This warehouse is equipped with airy office space and liquid-proof flooring to store oil and lubricants.

A 41,000 m² warehouse for logistics supplier Gondrand, specifically designed for ADR storage. Gondrand specializes in storing and exporting chemicals. The all-round warehouse features 7 ADR compartments with a CO² fire extinguishing system in 6 of them, for maximum safety. Four cooled zones with temperatures ranging from 5 to 15°C. The warehouse is heated with an energy-efficient floor heating system.

This impressive re-development in the AGF industry resulted in a newly built, 64,000 m² warehouse for fruit and vegetable specialist The Greenery. Within just four years, the existing buildings were turned into a state-of-the-art distribution centre comprised of three separate buildings. Throughout the project, the company remained fully operational. Building A houses a crate-laundering facility for EPS, a standard warehouse with a large washing system. Buildings B and C are fully cooled, with separate temperature areas, and cooling and freezing cells for vegetables and fruit.

With 9,500 m² of freezing space, this fully automated high-bay cold store is an ingenious piece of work! This warehouse has a constant temperature of -23°C and has room for over 28,000 pallet spaces. Thanks to its fully automated packaging and replenishment processing systems, international bakery group Lantmännen Unibake has enhanced its delivery times and supply management efficiency.

This 20,000 m² packaging and distribution centre for pharmaceutical supplier Mediq combines efficiency with user comfort. Led lighting with detection sensors and an abundance of solar panels are key to the building’s sustainability, while largely automated processes ensure that any order is fit-for-processing withing 45 minutes. The warehouse is fitted with an ORS shuttle system, temperature control and air conditioning, and is equipped to ensure daylight entry.

This former DHL site in Grimbergen was redeveloped into a 35,000 m² distribution centre for heavy machinery producer Caterpillar. The premises include a large yard for the outside storage of machine parts, while the impressive offices inside cover the full width of the building and are equipped with enjoyable terraces. The standard warehouse consists of racks and floor storage.

International clothing company LPP’s e-commerce strategy for the southern European market is well supported by this 23,500 m² distribution centre in Stefanesti, Romania. It meets all the specifications needed to boost this client’s logistical ambitions. To extend her e-commerce activities this site will be expanded with another 22.000 m² with expected delivery in Q3 2021.

This 25,000 m² warehouse was developed on the Eurohub Sud logistics site in Dudelange. The distribution centre is divided into three separate units and built according to WDP’s programme of requirements. Every unit has its own entrance and office space. The warehouses are currently used by Sobolux (part of Ziegler), Trendy Foods (retail service provider), and FEDEX (shipping service).
Newcorp Heinenoord Logistics
This 22,000 m² distribution centre was developed for logistics supplier Newcorp Logistics, at Bedrijvenpark Hoekse Waard. The steel construction with concrete plinths is finished with steel sandwich panels. Office space at both sides of the building enjoy abundant daylight. A large outside area, a VAL space, 21 loading docks and a mezzanine complete this modern warehouse facility.

The WDP standard programme of requirements – with no extra costs or options – was the basis for the development of this 32,000 m² distribution centre in Heppignies, currently occupied by hypermarket chain Cora.
EPS Zellik Packaging
Europool System specializes in reusable foldable crates and pallets, and needed a specially designed, optimally positioned warehouse over 30,000 m² large, with a fully automated installation and a laundry system included. The end result fully lives up to the client’s initial expectations. The onsite wastewater treatment plant ensures that up to 80% of water is reused, while the smart onsite circulation plan optimizes traffic flow on the property.

Wholesale and food specialist Metro has entered a new phase of its logistics strategy, thanks to this 55,000 m² large warehouse with all the necessary amenities in Stefanesti, Romania.

This 10,500 m² distribution centre for press distributor Ubiway shows how standard design plans and bespoke architecture can go hand in hand. The warehouse was fully redeveloped according to standard designs, but the building was fully tailored to the site’s potential. The protrusion, the oblique cross dock and the corner mezzanine are all fine examples of an optimal use of space.

This 20,250 m² warehouse – 2,300 m² of which is office space – for packaging and hygiene products supplier Bunzl has everything needed to implement a future-proof way of working.
