EAGLE READERS!

After huge success in its first year, the Eagle Readers program is back for another round in 2023.

Eagle Readers is a three month program for young children to improve their reading skills and encourage a love of literacy.

Running from April to June, the program consists of two groups: Eaglets for 0-5 years and Eagles for 5 years and over.

Participation is easy!

1. Call or visit your local library to register and collect your Eagle Readers booklet

2. Read four books each month and record the titles in your booklet

3. Visit your local library at least once a month to have your booklet signed by a staff member, and pick up some new reading materials

4. CELEBRATE! Complete the challenge and celebrate with your local library (did somebody say pizza party?!)
