Who are we? At Edenfield, we are committed to providing the very best service in terms of price, value and quality combined. Over the years, we have gained valuable experience working with hundreds of schools, academies, colleges and education providers across the UK. As a result, we have been able to focus and tailor our training to meet the needs of the sector by always using relevant material and content, and calling upon the most current guidance from bodies such as the HSE, DfE and Ofsted. Our training Edenfield’s team of highly qualified, experienced and friendly instructors aim to make training as relaxed and enjoyable as possible. Our flexible approach means that courses can be delivered during daytime, twilight, or evening sessions, on consecutive days or spread over several weeks, and structured to fit around your day. We also have no maximum group size, meaning that entire teams can be trained together (great for INSET days) by multiple instructors. Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) Qualification title: Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (England, Wales and Northern Ireland) Award in Emergency First Aid at Work at Level 6 (Scotland) Duration:

The Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) qualification is an ideal choice for school staff at all levels. HSE guidelines specify the EFAW as the go-to qualification for lower risk environments (such as schools, offices etc), or where trained staff are are supporting colleagues who hold a full First Aid at Work qualification. It is nationally recognised and regulated to RQF level 3 (England, Wales and Northern Ireland) / SQF level 6 (Scotland). The First Aid at Work (FAW) is the highest and most widely recognised first aid qualification, meeting the statutory requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. Emergency Paediatric First Aid Qualification title: Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid (England, Wales and Northern Ireland) Award in Emergency First Aid at Work at Level 6 (Scotland) Duration:

This course provides an introduction to first aid for babies and children, enabling learners to respond to a range of emergency situations. It is specifically designed for newly qualified level 2/3 childcare practitioners, or those who have an interest in child or infant basic life support. This course is recognised by Ofsted and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), and meets Childcare Registration regulations. Please note: The requirements state that childcare settings must still have at least one fully qualified paediatric first aider (holder of the two day Paediatric First Aid qualification) available whenever children are present. Allergies, Anaphylaxis and Adrenaline Administration Qualification title:

Anaphylaxis and Adrenaline Auto-injector Awareness

Anaphylaxis is a life-threatening, serious allergic reaction to substances such as food groups, medication and insect stings. Under new regulations, schools are now permitted to hold ‘spare’ adrenaline auto-injectors (AAIs) for emergency use, in addition to those prescribed to pupils suffering from serious allergies. This training is to enable first responders to recognise and treat anaphylaxis safely and effectively. It includes the administration of adrenaline auto-injectors (such as EpiPen or Jext) and the importance of recognising and differentiating between allergic reactions and potentially life-threatening anaphylactic shock.
