BUPROFEZIN
Description: Buprofezin is a persistent insecticide and acaricide with contact and stomach action. It do not translocated in plant. It acts by inhibiting chitin biosynthesis and subsequent cuticle deposition. It also effect s on the hormone level s of nymphs associated with moulting and on prostaglandin synthesis. The inhibition of moulting of nymphs and larvae, leads to death.

MOLECULAR BACKGROUND
Mammalian toxicity: WHO III, Slightly Hazardous. b) Environmental toxicity: In animals, low residues were found in nearly all ruminant and poultry tissues. Extensive metabolism was observed, with a large number of minor metabolites being produced. In plants only limited metabolism occurs. Minor metabolites indicate a pathway involving hydroxylation or oxidative loss of the tert-butyl group, followed by opening of the heterocyclic ring. It is slightly toxic for rats. It is moderately toxic to birds. It is toxic to ďŹ shes. It cause no direct effects on bees.
