v Dhadak is an insect growth regulator ( IGR) that mimics the action of juvenile hormone ( JH), that regulates the transition from one developmental stage to another. JH is a key hormone regulating many developmental processes in insects , including reproductive maturation and ovarian development, acting on several tissues, including ovaries , fat body and mid-gut to facilitate to transform the subsequent stages of speciď€ c functions in developmental process . v Dhadak is a suppressor of embryogenesis . v Dhadak is an inhibitor of metamorphosis . v Dhadak is inhibitor of reproduction .

v Dhadak effectively control all the stages of whitey– inhibits Egg hatching, inhibits metamorphosis of Nymph to Adult and sterilize Adult females. It may be noted that Nymphs are more damaging as compared to adults. v Dhadak prevents spread of cotton leaf curl virus by controlling its vector white y .

v Dhadak has trans-laminar activity and control white y and its all stages present on lower surface of leaf. v Dhadak acts slowly to give longer duration of control . v Dhadak givesphyto-tonic effect to crops .

Dhadak Pyriproxyfen 10% EC SAFETY Protective clothing's should be worn while mixing and spraying. Wash contaminated clothes and the body parts after application. Avoid inhalation, do not smoke, drink, eat and chew anything during application.

FIRST AID q If inhaled remove the patient to fresh air. Call the physician immediately . q In case of contact with eyes immediately ush with plenty of water for at least 15 min( remove contact lenses if easily possible) then take to a doctor. q If on skin wash with plenty of soap and water. Wash contaminated cloths before re-use. q If swallowed , rinse mouth with water and give 1-2 glasses of water to drink . Call physician immediately .

ANTIDOTE No speciď€ c antidote known. Apply symptomatic therapy.

Pyriproxyfen 10% EC

DOSE : Dhadak 500 ml / Ha diluted in 500 Liters of water . { @ 200 ml / Acre } CROPS : Cotton , Chili Brinjal & Okra.

TIME OF APPLICATION :

Apply Dhadak when whitey has reached Economic threshold level ( ETL) ie as soon

as 3 -5 adults per leaf are noticed.

METHOD OF APPLICATION : Uniform foliar spray ensuring full coverage .
