Hello North Metro Church!

I hope you all had a great summer full of fun and rest. I know that many of you are doing all of the last-minute school shopping for your kids as you prepare for another school year....I know....how is another school year already starting? I want to encourage you that new things and good things are ahead, and the routine and structure, like starting school, can bring peace. Let us help you with some new offerings this fall.

At NMC, we desire to see marriages strong and flourishing. This month we are kicking off three marriage ministries: Merge, our premarital mentoring program for those who are engaged; Foundation Gatherings for newlywed couples to find community and continue to strengthen their marriage in the early years; and re|engage, our marital enrichment program that helps take marriages from good to great! Since they're all on Monday nights... just call them marriage Mondays. You can find specific details in the pages of this newsletter regarding when these opportunities start and how you can get involved.

A new ministry starting at NMC this fall is re:generation. God's purpose for our lives is to transform us into the likeness of His Son, Jesus Christ. Transformation comes through sanctification by the work of the Holy Spirit, where He reveals to us our sins, sinful patterns, and strongholds. In Christ, we are free from these strongholds! re:generation is a step-by-step discipleship program that will walk you through biblical truth and practical ways of laying down your sin and finding everlasting freedom. I am very excited about this and encourage you to prayerfully consider participating. I believe and am praying that many will be set free from areas of bondage by going through this program.
