Scenic Painting (Ages 8-11)

Scenic painting gives backdrops and flat scenery depth and perspective. This class explores one of the oldest theatrical techniques: faux painting. Using this technique, students create stone, brick, and wood grain textures while practicing color theory. Students will also learn basic brushstrokes after stretching their very own canvas flat!

World Building: A Writer’s Guide (Ages 12-15)

So you’ve decided to write a story that takes place in an imaginary world and you’re wondering where to begin. Well, look no further! In this class, students will spend the week building an imaginary world in which they can set a story. We will focus on the development of people, places, politics, flora and fauna, culture, magic systems, and more!
