Students can enroll in morning classes, afternoon classes, or both for a full day of arts engagement!

Classes are listed by week and then in alphabetical order by class title.

Digital Character & World Building (Ages 12-15)

In this one-week class, students design dynamic characters and compelling environments with the use of Adobe Photoshop and traditional drawing. Conceptual ideas are worked through using pre-production techniques and developed into finished concept art. This class engages students in ideation, design, story, silhouettes, character comps, environment comps, and character and environment painting.

Time: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. (Lunch break included from 12 p.m. – 1 p.m.)

Cost: $550

Digital Photography (Ages 12-15)

This class introduces students to the fundamentals of photography. Students learn and demonstrate a basic understanding of DSLR camera operations, lenses, light meters, aperture, shutter, digital workflow, etc. By the end of the class, students have gained an understanding of the basic elements of art and the ability to apply it to their own photography. Students also learn various techniques of photography and how to do basic edits to their photographs using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.

Time: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. (Lunch break included from 12 p.m. – 1 p.m.)

Let’s Make a Musical (Ages 12-15)

Let’s make a musical in five days! As a group, students will write a musical and present a reading of that musical on the final day of class. Students will study the basics of story structure, songwriting, collaboration, and performing. Writers, musicians, and performers are all welcome, as students will be embracing the collaborative process together.

Time: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Cost: $300

Printmaking (Ages 12-15)

In this one-week course, students learn printmaking techniques like monotype, relief printing, intaglio, and screen printing. This course also covers learning about tools, inks, paper, plate preparation, registration, and printing processes. All supplies for this class will be included.

Time: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
