Creative Writing (Ages 8-15)
Classes Meet Monday – Friday for Five Weeks

Students can enroll in morning classes, afternoon classes, or both for a full day of arts engagement! Classes are listed in alphabetical order by class title.
Over the course of five weeks, students are introduced to a broad spectrum of creative writing genres, from poetry to fiction to dramatic writing. Students work on creative writing fundamentals while developing their own creative voice. By the end of the session, students will have produced their own original work to be published in an anthology.
Time: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. or 1 – 4 p.m.

Digital Art & Design (Ages 11-15)
Intended to be a one-stop introduction to making artwork digitally, students learn how to use Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator to create a myriad of exciting projects. Students practice the basics of effectively designing their own personal logos, business cards, typefaces, movie posters, playing cards, 3D cereal boxes, and more! With tons of room for creative expression, this class is a great introduction to the world of digital art and design. This class culminates in a showcase featuring the students’ work at the end of the five weeks.

Digital Character Design (Ages 11-15)
Students learn how to design everything needed to tell a compelling story, including characters, clothing, tools, animals, and environments. Working primarily in Adobe Photoshop, emphasis is placed on process and technique as students design and create characters from scratch. It is recommended to take this course in conjunction with the Animation course.
Time: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. or 1 – 4 p.m.
