Thank you for your continued support of our deserving student artists and the school’s mission to provide an unparalleled arts and academic education. We couldn’t make the magic happen without you!

Welcome Friends!

Thank you for joining us for Gala 2024: New York State of Mind, presented by the Orange County School of the Arts (OCSA) Foundation. This evening you will be fully immersed in the iconic streets of the Big Apple and enjoy an incredible production of Broadway classics performed by our exceptional student artists! As we come together to celebrate OCSA, I think it is also important for us to reflect on how this is all possible.

I know that each of you are here tonight for the same reason I am: we share the fundamental belief that the education that OCSA students receive is immeasurably valuable. The education that OCSA provides, both academically and artistically, is not just beneficial to each student as an individual – though that is true. OCSA’s environment, programmatic rigor, and emphasis on artistic growth build confidence, teach resilience, ignite inner motivation, facilitate collaboration, expand critical and creative thinking, and so much more. The world needs individuals like our students: people who are compassionate, hard-working, and driven toward the pursuit of excellence; people who think differently. OCSA provides a space to nurture the growth of tomorrow’s leaders, creators, innovators, and problem solvers.

OCSA is a unique place for students passionate about the arts. Here at OCSA, we recognize that the arts aren’t just beautiful, they are fundamental to who we are as human beings. The arts connect people and communities and allow us to express ourselves in ways that words cannot. At a time when the importance of the arts is not always recognized, it is more crucial than ever that individuals like you reaffirm your support of this one-of-a-kind place where thousands of young artists are able to pursue their academic and artistic dreams in a safe and nurturing school culture. I want to thank YOU for being here and encourage you to continue this show of support in any of the ways available to you tonight, including our Live Auction and Fund-A-Dream giving moment.

It is with deep admiration for their courageous support of the arts that I would like to thank the esteemed members of our Board of Trustees, Foundation Board of Directors, and Emeritus Board. I would also like to thank our President’s Circle and Encore members for their continued enthusiasm and dedication. Last, but certainly not least, I am appreciative of our Gala 2024 Corporate Sponsors Table Sponsors, Individual Ticket Attendees, and Performance Underwriters contributions to this year’s event. Through your support of Gala, you are helping to ensure that the transformative education of OCSA continues to be available to all of our talented young artists.

Now, our student performers are ready to wow you with a phenomenal show. Let’s kick off this spellbinding New York evening!

All the best,

SPECIAL THANKS TO THE FOLLOWING SPONSORS

OPPORTUNITIES TO INSPIRE, IMPACT, AND INVEST IN THE NEXT GENERATION OF ARTIST-SCHOLARS

HEARTS FOR THE ARTS CAMPAIGN

This annual campaign provides additional support for arts conservatory needs beyond each conservatory’s annual budget. A Hearts for the Arts donation will help to fund special equipment and supplies, performances and eld trips, and arts enrichment opportunities for our talented students.

ARTIST SCHOLAR SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM

This annual program supports economically disadvantaged students who attend OCSA. Donations not only help to fund the arts conservatory portion of their school day, but also make certain they have access to the full OCSA experience, including yearbooks, technology, and school supplies.

MASTER ARTIST SERIES

This annual program supports high-pro le visiting artists who create meaningful and often life-changing experiences for our student artists. An important instructional strategy at OCSA is to bring master artists and industry leaders to share their gifts, career stories, and expertise with students through residencies, master classes, lectures, and performances.

READY TO GET INVOLVED?

To learn more about these important campaigns or give today, please visit www.ocsarts.net/Give . We would love to talk with you about how you can support OCSA’s talented students! Please contact Anna Belmer Jackson, Director of Individual Giving, at anna.jackson@ocsarts.net.
