LADIES NIGHT MONDAY 2 AUGUST 2021 Official programme £3.00

THE JOCKEY CLUB WELCOMES YOU

Good Afternoon and welcome to Carlisle Racecourse. It is so fantastic to be able to welcome a bumper crowd for Ladies Night. It’s a Night that everyone looks forward to and after such a tough 18 months I am so pleased you have all come out to support this incredible evening. Our Ladies Night here at Carlisle is unique in many ways. However it is the only Card in the whole of the UK and this year, the World to host 8 races with only female jockeys! We have had bumper declarations of 83 horses who will be gracing the Carlisle turf this evening. It is incredible to see this card so well supported, thank you to all of our Owners and Trainers. If you are wanting to enter our Style Awards competition then please make your way down to the Flower wall which is located next to the William Hill Betting shop, the awards open at 16:15 and close at 18:40. So make sure you get down there – you have to be in it, to win it. We are so excited that Scott Mills is playing a live DJ set after racing the set will start at around 20:45. Tonight’s race night has been sponsored by a fabulous local Company VL Aesthetics. Based in Carlisle, they provide aesthetic treatments at the cutting edge of science and beauty. From reducing wrinkles and fine lines, to removing fat and cellulite, to clearing acne, dry skin, and rosacea, they will help you look and feel your best again. I hope you are all having a wonderful evening tonight and look forward to welcoming you back soon. MOLLY DINGWALL General Manager - Carlisle Racecourse

CODE OF CONDUCT We are delighted to welcome you back to the Carlisle for an exciting card of racing. We very much hope that you enjoy your time with us and we would like to remind you of our code of conduct, which we asked you to sign when you purchased tickets; •

Face masks or face coverings must be worn whenever you’re indoors at the racecourse, other than when seated to eat or drink. It is also mandatory to wear face coverings when on the grandstand steppings and in any situation when you are queuing or unable to maintain social distancing.

Please follow all signage and instructions from our teams and stewards. One-way systems are in place in many areas.

Please be aware that inside space is very limited due to social distancing requirements. If you enter one of our indoor spaces and find yourself unable to socially distance, please find an alternative.

Please remember that personal hygiene is vital to help prevent the spread of Coronavirus. Wash your hands regularly, use hand sanitiser and cover your nose and mouth to cough or sneeze.

Please do not gather in groups of more than six people inside, or 30 people outside.

Always maintain a distance of two metres from anyone outside your own household or support bubble.

Please try to reduce the amount of time you spend in crowded areas, where social distancing becomes difficult.

You must remain seated to eat or drink, wherever you are on the racecourse.

We greatly appreciate your assistance and understanding while these measures remain in place.
