TIMEFORM VIEW Hurdles debut fourth at Plumpton was encouraging and subsequently took a big step forward when landing a 10-runner Ffos Las maiden (2 1/2m, heavy) last month. There’s substance to that form (the race has already produced 3 next-time-out winners) and this 6-y-o is open to further improvement. TFRHHHHI BHA118 (+3)

TIMEFORM VIEW Gradual race-by-race progress in 3 bumpers for Joe Ponting and continued that theme when making a winning hurdles/yard debut over this C&D (good to soft), proving a neck too strong for the re-opposing Aviation. Probably capable of better still but certainly has more on his plate under a penalty. TFRHHHII BHA-

TIMEFORM VIEW Placed all 3 starts since switched to hurdles, most recently beaten 1/2-length by Escapologist in a C&D maiden, a race he may well have won but for becoming embroiled in a battle for the lead at around the midway point. Meets the winner on 7lb better terms this time and holds very strong claims. TFRHHHHH BHA115

TIMEFORM VIEW Last of 6 finishers sole start in Irish points but there were positives to glean from his hurdles debut fourth in an 11-runner Sedgefield maiden (19.8f, soft) last week. Likely that handicaps will be on the agenda soon enough and he’ll be interesting when going down that route. TFRHHIII BHA-

THE TIMEFORM VIEW Though AVIATION was beaten by Escapologist over C&D last time, there was only 1/2-length in it and, now 7lb better off with that rival, Lucy Wadham’s charge is confidently expected to emerge on top this time. Escapologist nevertheless merits respect given that he remains with potential, but a bigger threat to Aviation may be posed by Elysian Knight, who raised his game when scoring at Ffos Las and should have more to offer.

THE TIMEFORM VIEW MOVIDDY has been heading back in the right direction on her last 2 starts, runner-up at this C&D last month with the winner going on to score at Listed level, so she can take advantage of her reduced mark this time around. THE TIMEFORM VIEW James Owen’s Sea The Stars gelding NAVAL TRIBUTE holds the clear edge on form and with improvement very much on the cards he earns a confident vote. Hereford runner-up Kefir d’Oudairies appeals as the one to chase him home ahead of Graeme The Grey

TIMEFORM VIEW Winner of a handicap hurdle and maiden chase for Gavin Cromwell at Kilbeggan in 2024. Arrives here on the back of a recent point success but safely held on hunter debut/first run under Rules for this yard at Warwick last month and he looks vulnerable.

THE TIMEFORM VIEW PRESENTANDCOUNTING is an appealing alternative to likely favourite Frere d’Armes. The 11-y-o looked on good terms with himself when running away with a small-field handicap chase at Catterick and he could take some catching with Gina Andrews aboard. Frere d’Armes is the clear main danger ahead of Go On Chez. TIMEFORM PREDICTION: 1.PRESENTANDCOUNTING (IRE) 2.FRERE D’ARMES (FR) 3.GO ON CHEZ

TIMEFORM VIEW Twice a winner in small-field contests in 2023 and snapped a losing run when landing a 3-runner Catterick handicap (25.2f, good to firm) with minimum fuss in November That wasn’t much of a race but he’s clearly in good nick and merits respect with Gina Andrews booked for this hunter debut.
