2. BHA rating = the higher the number, the better the horse.
3. Timeform view and TFR rating

2.20pm - Anzac Day makes a return to racing after a long absence. He was an impressive winner at Newmarket over this trip back in October 2023. The market may prove telling towards the chances of the Andrew Balding-trained gelding. He would have big claims here on previous form. Modern Style makes his debut start for CharlieAppleby. The gelded son of Frankel should be suited to this trip on breeding and draws stall 1. Sword OfWessex steps up in trip here and looks interesting He ran a nice 2nd to Prince Of The Seas in a 1-mile maiden at Sandown last September He breaks from stall 13 however which may not be ideal.
2.55pm - Teumessias Fox won here at Kempton in the Virgin Bet Rosebery Handicap just over3weeks ago Itwas a nicewin fortheAndrewBalding horse on seasonal reappearance but stepping back up to Listed company will be a tougher ask. Okeechobee was runner up in this race last year, finishing behind Dubai Honour but was a narrow winner of the Grade 3 Gordon Richards Stakes at Sandown last year He looks a danger on seasonal reappearance and gets a nice draw from stall 4. Military Order won the Winter Derby at Southwell last year He was disappointing on heavy ground at Longchamp but has to be considered in Listed company here today.
3.30pm - Top Of The Class is a course and distance winner She won here off a mark of 67 and although, now up in the weights, there still may be more to come from the horse if she breaks better from the start today. There may also be more to come from the lightly raced Sky Safari. She found Listed company in the fillies and mares October Stakes at Ascot too much but put that disappointment behind herto take a handicap at Wolverhampton off a mark of 73 She goes up 3lbs but she should run a good race here from stall 4 and stepping up in trip to 1 mile looks likely to suit.
4.05pm - Metaverse won a Novice Stakes here over course and distance and has run well in a few handicaps, including when winning over the July Course at Newmarket He looks interesting back on this surface and a mark of 84 is feasible. Follow Your Heart looks to be in good form right now. He looked as good as ever when winning at Wolverhampton last time out and there is a lot to like about this 7-year-old, breaking from stall 2 with William Buick taking the ride. Dapper Valley has each way claims but will need to be more tempered during his running as he ran way too free last time out.
4.40pm - Coup De Force is a course and distance winner She is up 3lbs today for her narrow victory at Southwell but there could be more to come from the mare who looks in top form right now. Hierarchy has been running well off this mark of 71, without winning but has every chance of changing that today. Cypriot Diaspora makes her seasonal reappearance forthe Rod Millmanyard with Oisin Murphytakingthe ride.An improvement may be needed from her career best but she is still worth a market check.
5.15pm - Study Up won first time out last year when winning a Novice Stakes at Salisbury He looks one of the more interesting horses who have had a run here. Palmarian was disappointing last time out at Doncaster when he went off Evens favourite. A hood is applied today and ifthe headgear is successful in its intentions, he may be in with a shout. Keybaar makes his debut for trainer William Haggas and the son of Earthlight could go well here. Hoodie Hoo was a nice winner of a maiden at Wolverhampton. This looks a hotter race however but the Charles Hill-trained colt has plenty of early speed and is respected here.
5.50pm - Sheriff’s Court makes his British debut since joining the Sir Mark Prescott yard from Andre Fabre. The gelding won a maiden at Saint-Cloud last year on what was described as heavy ground. Rappers Delight and Atmosphere are both two interesting newcomersfortrainerRichardSpencer Themarketmaybeagoodguidetotheirrespective chances. Chilly Breeze won over 5 furlongs in a maiden at Nottingham. He steps up in trip and has more scope considering he ran quite green last time out.
6.20pm - Cinnodin won here two weeks ago over course and distance. He goes up 3lbs but should be right in there at the business end of the race. Orchestra has undergone a wind operation and has his chances if that can bring about some extra improvement. Believitanducan won over hurdles last month and a flat mark of 71 looks feasible for the Alan King-trained horse with Rossa Ryan taking the ride today.
British Stallion Studs have contributed nearly £2MILLION to Flat and National Hunt prize money during 2025 via the British EBF.

SWORD OF WESSEX left his debut behind when runner-up in a warm Sandown maiden and this Derby entrant tops the shortlist. Anzac Day looked potentially smart when winning a Newmarket maiden as a 2-y-o but he’s been off the track since. Ernst Blofeld made a promising debut here 2 weeks ago so is another to consider with well-bred newcomer Modern Style completing the shortlist.
