OLLY MURS SATURDAY 14 AUGUST RICK ASTLEY SATURDAY 18 SEPTEMBER TICKETS ON SALE NOW REFUND GUARANTEE
Good afternoon and a very warm welcome to MansionBet Challow Hurdle Day at Newbury Racecourse. What a strange and challenging year it has been for us all, and whilst we were delighted to welcome a small crowd back to Newbury on 16 December for the first time since February 28, it was sadly short-lived and we are very sorry that we cannot welcome you in person today. However, we must remain positive that we are able to continue to race behind closed doors, with our ongoing thanks to all the stakeholders and horsemen for their support and patience during this time. I am delighted to be introducing new sponsors of the Grade 1 Challow Novices’ Hurdle, MansionBet for both 2020 and 2021 and we are very grateful for their support of the feature race and supporting card. What a thrilling race we witnessed last year when won by Thyme Hill who was recently back in action at Newbury when winning in November. This race always produces superstars and we look forward to this year’s renewal. To all the owners with runners, we are sorry we cannot offer you the full Newbury ownership experience, but we thank you for your continued support and wish you the best of racing luck today. Finally from all of us at Newbury, we hope you enjoy all the action from home and send our best wishes for a happier 2021. Julian Thick Chief Executive
