On behalf of all the team here at Punchestown I would like to extend a very warm welcome back to the home of Irish jump racing. Today marks the first of our jump fixtures for the 2024/2025 season and the staff have been working very hard behind the scenes to ensure the track looks impeccable!
Although five months have passed since Festival 2024 it feels as though the summer has flown by. Those months give us the opportunity to reflect on the season past, consider feedback and implement changes as we continue to improve the Punchestown customer experience. Runner-up on his two most recent starts, THE MEDIATOR can register a first win over flights. A bumper winner at Down Royal on his racecourse debut back in 2021, the Gordon Elliott-trained gelding has yet to add to that sole success. However, having shown promise both over hurdles and on the Flat of late, the seven-year-old should get his head back in front here.
